David discovered pickleball at UVA, winning the 2023 National DUPR Collegiate Championship with fellow Academy Instructor, Lauralei. A top-rated doubles player in Virginia with a 5.977 DUPR, consistently medaling in 5.5+ tournaments and competing in the PPA Tour Mixed Doubles Professional Main Draw.
